Neha Krishnakumar
Class of 2025
180DC introduced me to consulting and provided me with a hands on way to make a lasting global impact, while also providing a supporting community of friends and mentors to learn from.
I know I’ll cherish these friendships and use the skills I’ve learnt in 180 for years to come.
Nicholas Shinghal
Class of 2026
180DC has shaped my personal and professional journey at UCLA. It has opened so many doors for me in the business world that I, as a political science student who previously had little exposure to the consulting industry, likely never would have discovered. More than anything else, the people that this club has introduced me to have played such a big role in the great experiences I’ve had at this school, and I am so proud to be a part of the 180DC community here.
Jasmine Lin
Class of 2026
Having joined 180DC as a freshman, I was able to connect with like-minded peers and interact with a variety of professionals, who have sparked my interests in different career paths. Social impact and my community has always been a foundational aspect of my life, and I am glad to be able to continue this at UCLA through this organization.

-
How is 180DC different from other consulting groups? Our clients are nonprofits and social enterprises. We are a small, tight-knit group of mission-driven individuals—by working closely with some of the most influential socially-oriented organizations in Los Angeles and beyond, we strengthen their ability to achieve high-impact outcomes. Consultant training is facilitated through our quarter-long new member training program, hands-on client work, workshops, events, case competitions, and other forms of professional development. We also take on projects with clients from every part of the world, since we have over 150 branches in 33 countries across the globe.
-
Do I need consulting experience? No prior consulting experience is required. We seek hardworking individuals who demonstrate a balance of qualitative and quantitative skills. Those who are passionate about social impact and ready to dedicate time to projects are a perfect fit for 180DC, even if they are not sure about consulting yet.
